Dr. Fairchild specializes in surgical procedures for the breasts and body, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, liposuction, and tummy tuck surgery. She has a special interest in breast reconstruction surgery and recognizes that breast reconstruction is a multi-faceted process requiring both physical and emotional support. While taking meticulous care of her patients’ physical needs, she also focuses on supporting the emotional well-being of each individual patient. Dr. Fairchild also has vast experience in facial plastic surgery. She is passionate about surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. She uses injectables and other non-surgical treatments to complement surgical procedures or as stand-alone treatments, depending on individual patient needs and goals.

Dr. Fairchild’s interest in medicine was fostered from a young age, growing up in various locations throughout the U.S. while her father completed his own surgical training. She graduated with honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin and subsequently completed her residency in General Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. While training at the busiest Level I trauma center in the country and caring for numerous patients in the wake of devastating injury, her interest in the reconstructive process grew, leading her to pursue a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In addition to her specialized surgical training, Dr. Fairchild has fostered an avid interest in clinical research. While in training, she served as a research resident in the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, working with Dr. Mark Clemens on breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) research. Additionally, she has published on topics including autologous breast reconstruction, smooth surface tissue expanders and more.

When she is not busy caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Dr. Joseph Cochran, their baby girl, and their three dogs. Dr. Fairchild embraces the challenge of balancing her surgical practice with motherhood and strongly believes that her experience as a mother will enrich her capacities as a physician.
